What is a Y-Cam...
The Y-cam is a wireless internet video camera (also called network or IP cameras) that can can send high quality video and sound via the internet. Unlike a webcam, it has its own built-in computer so doesn't need to be connected to a PC to function and does not need any special software to view live video.
The technology within the Y-cam enables it to detect motion and automatically send an e-mail alert to the owner notifying them that motion had been detected, with an attached image of the scene.
The Y-cam has now made remote monitoring easier and more affordable than ever before.
