HQ1 Bullet Camera
If you're looking for a high quality small bullet cam then this is the
one to choose. Built to the same high quality as the Pro Zoom model with a 550
(580 ntsc) tv line Sony ExView HAD sensor for unmatched image reproduction and
colour representation.
What makes this bullet cam so good? We have had the DSP modified to our spec and
the lens coating adjusted to suit outdoor fast paced filming. Very few cameras
this size have the ability to adapt to changing light conditions in such a short
period of time. How can you test this? Compare to an inferior camera and cover
the lens with your hand in a well lit room or outdoors. See how quickly the DSP
changes the auto iris control when your hand is removed.
This bullet camera contains a 550 line CCD.
Please let us know if you require an NTSC version of this camera
(not recommended for the UK market)
This camera is IP68 rated so it can be used for under water filming to a depth
of 10 metres.

Interline shutter
The circuitry in this helmet camera employs an interline
transfer system with a variable shutter speed. The shutter continually adjusts
from 1/60 to 1/10000 second making it possible to clearly film fast moving
objects and suppress flicker under fluorescent lights.
No Lag
The sensor n layer sandwiched between the p wall and hole accumulation layers
are fully depleted each time the signal charge is given out. This means no lag
occurs from one field to the next.
High sensitivity
Elimination of a thin polycrystalline film Si electrode used in the upper part
of the conventional sensor has resulted in higher sensitivity especially in the
short-wavelength range. This means better contrast ratios and a crisper image
when going from dark to light extremities at speed.
OR
HQ2 Bullet Camera
Up until now the HQ1 bullet camera has been the leader in it's field. The HQ2
is the successor to the throne for bullet cameras.
We have designed this camera and housing around the already excellent HQ1 model.
It uses the latest SuperHADII chipset with 1/3" ExviewHAD CCD sensor.
The colour balance has been carefully adjusted to to make the most of the
treated lens which is changeable for different angles of view (narrow or wide)
Low light levels are hugely improved using this chipset, there is currently no
other 1/3" bullet camera that can outperform this one in terms of image quality
and low light ability.
The overall size of this bullet camera is much smaller than it's rivals. A
diameter of 19mm and length of just 55mm but we still managed to keep the 1/4"
20 UNC mounting thread on the rear making it really easy to mount.
IP68 rating makes it waterproof down to 3m including waterproof connections for
extension cable runs of up to 50m.
If all of this wasn't enough, our HQ2 camera only draws 65mA in power, 60% less
than the next best camera in it's class. This means the camera keeps cooler and
the batteries in your recorder will last longer.
