IP CCTV Explained... Our fantastic new IP
systems are network-based camera setups, offering wire or
wireless camera systems running at 30 frames per-second over
your existing computer network. The advantages of this
mean that your existing network takes care of camera operation
with no additional hard-wiring in most cases.
The systems are capable of transforming your PC into an all-in-one
CCTV setup, utilising your existing technology for recording,
viewing and control.
The cameras can broadcast to your intranet (local) or externally to
a master server or slave unit (either at a separate
office/establishment or even your home/laptop).
This means that wherever you are, your camera system can be managed
over single or multiple sites from one master computer.
Because the IP systems use your computer's existing networking
capabilities this solution also reduces installation and
equipment costs, meaning this solution is idea as an entry level
CCTV solution.
